Have you tried the follow commands to see what you currently have configured? Get-transportConfig | fl *max* And Get-receiveconnector | fl *max* See what the settings are for Receive. If they are below what you want you can use Set-transportConfig or Set-receiveConnector.

Hi Yaseer ,

Below mentioned are the areas where you need to check the message size limits .

1.Individual user mailbox - max message receive size .

2. Receive connectors - max message receive size .

3.Most importantly you need to check the max message receive size on the transport config in exchange .

Tell me one thing can you able to send an email to external world from your exchange server with the message size of 6 MB ?

Hi Yasser,

Did the issue occur when all external domains send to your domain ? or just a particular domain?

I recommend you send a more than 6MB message to your domain from Gmail, and check if there is the same issue.

If you can receive the message, it shows that the size limitation in your domain is normal, you need to contact the sender domain's administortar and let them check the send size limitation.
