Hi All,

To make farm highly available we can have multiple frontend servers with network load balancer in between, have multiple application servers with clustered SQL Server environment. We have make front-end server, application sever & SQL server highly available but what if network load balancer itself is failed. So i am wondering how we can make network load balancer highly available.

Are you using a hardware load balancer or the standard OOB Server 2012 (or 2008 R2) NLB?

If it is the software NLB then you already have high availability, in the event of a failure of one of the nodes it will keep on ticking.

If it's hardare then you need to check with your hardware vendor to see what approach they recommend.

But what if the server with NLB fails?
