I need to trigger some code in the backend such that once the user clicks on a link on our sharepoint site, some code should run and a particular SQL table should be copied into an Excel file and saved in user's computer. Hi, I am afraid I am not sure about your requirement; you can provide more detailed information as following: 1. What’s the type of the link, client-side link (html link) or server-side link (asp link)? 2. When you want to run the T-SQL and populate the data into client’s machine, just click link or Open and request link? 3.
