internet explorer 8 32 bit and IE9 32 bit for windows 7 are unresponding... (IE9, at first, after Update KB2719177)
Sorry for disturbing. Notebook Asus G74Sx OS Windows 7 64 bit home pemium. Problem Description: At first (2-3 month ago) IE9 became unresponding after updating it to Internet Explorer 9 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2719177)... - solved it by going to system restore. Later IE9 became more slower - dont know why - i use ESET smart security 5 fully updated (nod32 in short), also applyed uniblue power suite, speedypc pro, registry first aid 8.. tools - no help in this problem. So i decided to uninstall and than reinstall IE 9 and turn off and than turn on IE 8 (it is pitty i can't uninstall and then back install ie 8 in windows 7...) - and than i saw, that IE 8 32 behave itself the same way as IE 9 with the update - no respond, crash, error... I reinstalled IE9 - and IE9 32 became behave itself as with update... - i think they included that damn update in new IE 9 (cause i do not see that update in installed updates list and windows update do not offer me that update to install.. "windows update is up to date" - :-) That it..., now i can use only IE (8, 9) 64 bit and other browthers.. No-addons mode, full reset to defaults in IE options, starting in safe mode, diagnostic boot, temporal disabling Eset nod security, turning off firewall, deleting flash from adobe, deleting Java - nothing helped. Well, actually about Safe mode with networking. It is behave itself in it as in normal mode (not responding), but in safe mode it is oppen and make working some wikki pages..., while everthing other is unresponding.. (looks like IE like knowledge.. :) Also, when it as always freeze, it sometimes frezze on a moment, when it show in status bar something like this "Res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#" So, i downloaded ieframe.dll from here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ieframe , but did NOT apply it cause of thishttp://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/ieframedll.htm - Important Note: Do not, under any circumstances, download the ieframe.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are many reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea. BTW, MFirefox also began behave itself strange - it show some pages wrong. So..., that it. Could you help me? Plz :) Cant reinstall windows - have no space free for that and have a lot of programs installed..and so on. Need to solve it without reinstalling windows. (Also, actually, never did it with windows 7 PREINSTALLED (have no CD, DVD with windows 7) on notebook.. many times did it succsefully with XP not preinstalled..) Damn it DO NOT WORK. It is trying to open a page, even sometimes open it, but when you touch the page, trying to do something on it - "... not responding", trying to recover and same again.............................................. It is, probably, something, that do not allow it to work normally - some script, .dll or.., i dont know.. PLEASE HELP. Are here specialists at all? What information do you need? Dxdiag, IEDiag.cab ? What? Guys, please..

"Mosquittozzz : Can't help you but have the same problem. Searched for hours, tried everything (Safereboots, reset winsock, reinstall etc etc). I think it is caused by a specific choice in the Windows 7 environment on our PC. But I cannot find which one. Starting IE 64 gives no problem, but I need the 32 bit version (and in case someone asks why: because I use some old software that malfunctions with 64 bit version). It is really frustrating!!!
