Short answer: No. Migrating from TBird is a contorted process if you try and do it manually.
There are countless 3rd party utilities for TBird/Outlook migration. One program I would suggest to review would be
Aid4Mail (Fookes Software)

The above is provided as "information only" and you should do your own due diligence before finalizing any purchase. Have no vested interest in either the company or product - have only seen positive reviews from other people regarding this product making the transition to Outlook a quick and easy process.
You can easily import your Thunderbird emails and contacts to MS Outlook by converting Thunderbird Mbox file to Outlook PST files. For the same, you can try out the following tools.

http://www.mboxtopstconvertertool.com/

These tools efficiently converts Thunderbird mail files (in MBOX' format) to Outlook-importable PST files as they have advertised.
I would advise you to try the demo version of these tools before making the purchase.
Here is worlds number one application (MBOX to PST Converter Tool) that can convert all Mailboxes of MBOX files to PST, MSG and EML format within few actions. Software provides reasonable and safe way for carrying out MBOX to Outlook Conversion procedure:- http://www.mboxtopstconverter.pcrecoverytools.com
Ugh , what an ugly process this was. after prelims had it down to 3 candidates: kernel, stellar and sys-tools.
kernel turned out to be a no go as it will only run as an administrator - what is up with that?
Stellar was interesting and its free mode convinced me that it could accomplish the task. unfortunately its interface was confusing and it crashed while dealing with the tbird folders.
Sys-tools left me wanting more from its demo version but it appeared it would be able to handle the task. It also seemed more complete than Stellar in its capabilities - but it cost twice as much as Stellar.
I went back to Stellar. It occurred to me that the crash might have been caused by the machine hosting the tbird files. This time no crash and to top it off there was a major discount offered for the msOutlook backup program if converter purchased. I went for it (warning: purchasing via DigitalRiver) and ta-da! Stellar's worked. slow, but it did it - except for the Trash folder.
So anyone looking this up, I recommend skip the rest of them and decided between Stellar and Sys-tools. Oh, and for the address book you need to hit F10 when in the tbird address book screen to see the Tools->Export option.
Select the messages you want to export. Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and click on the emails to select multiple items, or press "Ctrl-A" to select all messages in the folder.
