also do a telnet port between the local MP and the default
from the MP that is broken, -> telnet TopMP 1433
If you get a blank page then it connected. See if the MP can talk to SQL.http://www.sccm-tools.com http://sms-hints-tricks.blogspot.com

If you are connecting HTTP, what does your IIS log have to say? Your error is 500, but that is only half the story. There is a suberror code associated as well. After the browser strings you'll see the status code, and the substatus separated
by a space.
500 19 would be 500.19, as opposed to 404 8 being 404.8.
What is the whole error, with sub code? That will help point you in the right direction.

Hello
Now is OK but the error is : 403.2(...that does not have read access) ...and in panel not appear: 443 , only appear port 80
Other question is...Why with my sms2003 clients i cant
download content...and i have error: hash expected??
When i run package from dp is OK and with SCCM clients is OK , both
Thanks and regards

So, If I am understanding, you have a mix of SMS 2003 clients and ConfigMg 2007 clients in your environment. Your ConfigMgr 2007 clients are able to download content, while your SMS 2003 clients are not able to.
Your site is in Mixed Mode, so the Approved column matters. Surely, your ConfigMgr clients are Approved. Are your SMS 2003 clients also Approved?
What are you seeing in the CAS logs on SMS 2003 clients vs. ConfigMgr 2007 clients?John DeVito

SOunds like two seperate issues to me. Normally the HTTP 500 connecting to the MP wouldn't have anything to do with hash errors. What happens when you do MPCert and MPList on the MP? Have you tried running the Mp troubleshooter tool from the SCCM toolkit
v2?

Once I had a package that was giving hash error. I totally recreated a new package with the same source files and it still gave the error. I ended up setting it to run from the DP. There's no hash validation if a package runs from the DP instead of download
and execute.

I never installed this hotfix, but I guess you have to install it on SMS 2003 site server first to get client hotfix. Actually it will contain the hotfix for SMS client, you will find the source of client hotfix in the client folder on your SMS 2003
site server after the installation.
