iOS7 Intune Extension missing from console

Hello Experts

We recently setup Windows Intune within our Configuration Manager 2012 R2 Environment. After that process i was able to successfully enable the Windows Intune Extension "Email Profile Extensions" in our consoles.

According to some technet blogs, there is an other Windows Intune Extension for SCCM which brings some new iOS7 specific configuration items. This extensions doesn't actually appear in my sccm console. Under "Extensions for Windows Intune" is only the "Email Profile Extension" listed which is enabled as described.

I already checked if the new configuration items are already present, but they are not.

Are there any information why this specific extension is not displayed? I tested this on different consoles in my environment.

Thanks for any advice

Regards
Simon

"Email profiles extension" is the missing part then.
\AdminConsole\AdminUILog should contain logs that tell you details about the exentions.

Hi Thorsten

"Email profiles extensions" is enabled and the new entry in Company Resource Access is visible in all my consoles as described above.

I checked the Console log files, but there aren't any messages which are related to the missing ios extension.

Ups. Misread that, sorry. "iOS 7 Security Settings" are missing then.
When have you set up the Intune integration?

No problem, we setup our intune integration a few weeks ago.

The "Email profile extension" was there as soon as we setup our intune subscription / intune connector site system role. So the "iOS 7 Security Settings" should also be there by now...

Hi Simon,

Have you enabled iOS support in ConfigMgr?

Hi Nico

"Enable iOS enrollment" is enabled on our Intune Subscription and an Apple Push Notification Certificate is set.

Try creating a new mobile device configuration item. Do you see iOS 7 as a supported platform?

iOS7 is there as supported platform, like on your screenshot.

But if i browse trough the available settings, ios7 specific settings like e.g. 'Fingerprint for unlocking' aren't present.

I just rebuilt (fresh OS and SCCM install) our SCCM Infrastructure and I see that iOS7 and Windows Phone 8.1 extensions are not available this time around.  We were R2 RTM, and we are now R2 CU3 but wouldn't think that would affect this issue.

I did rebuild today so maybe I am just not waiting long enough, however the newly released "Enterprise Mode Extension" is there.

Thoughts?

I just answered my own question.  The extensions for Email, iOS7, and Windows Phone 8.1 just appeared.

Per this blog, you can also force the extensions to download with the SyncConnectorCert.exe Tool

Interesting.  Guess you will need to call support to get your hands on that if needed..
