1. Create a command channel to run powershell script to send sms alert 2. create a related subscriptions with channel which you create in step 1 Roger

Hi Canbasel Steve Rachui has written a blogpost where he triggers a Powershell Script to update custom fields. You can adapt this 1:1 to trigger other Powershell scripts. The command channel gets triggered each time an alert drops in. Here the post http://blogs.msdn.com/b/steverac/archive/2010/08/17/updating-custom-alert-fields-using-subscriptions-and-powershell.aspx What do you mean by events? Alerts? Windows Events? If you want to generate Alerts based on the Event so in order to achieve this, you need to create a Rule. Please go through this link http://blogs.technet.com/b/smsandmom/archive/2008/11/12/opsmgr-2007-how-to-create-an-alert-rule-based-on-an-event-description.aspx, it will help you out. On this event you can use Subscription to fire the PowerShell script of yours.Regards, Ravi

Hi I understand that you want just that two servers generate an alert and based on this alerts you want to receive SMS. Why don't you create a rule as suggestet by Ravi and target this rule at those two Servers e.g. by creating a group. Therefore you will receive just alerts from These two Servers. You can modify the subscription in that way that you only receive alerts generate by instances of that Group. Regards, StefanBlog: http://blog.scomfaq.ch
