I have the following scenario: are two distinct domains, Domain A and Domain B. Forest Resource Exchange and OCS are implemented in domain B, I have implemented Hmc this domain. need to synchronize users and passwords the same in an OU specifies the domain A. Currently this work is done by syncronização admt. But manual labor is very great. The idea is subistuir admt pel the FIM 2010 for the OU that the users and their passwords can be synchronized with the domain HMC. Tks, Chico

Well... Just to clarify, i know Chico... He is an old friend that has worked with me on a migration project (NT4 -> AD2003) here in Brazil. Some questions to help us to undestand your scenario... Is your domain "B" a target domain, right, with HMC (Hosting Messaging and Collaboration) hosting Exchange and OCS ??? Today you have one domain "A" and you want do sync the users in an OU on this domain "A" to domain "B" (users and password). Do you want to use FIM2010 just to provisioning users and sync their passwords from domain over WAN links (VPN)? In the future, will you have domains "C", "D", "E"? Cheers, ***** Paulo H. Hi Paulão! Friend thanks for your help! That's right, my domain B has the Hmc implemented by the OCS and Exchange. Following answer to your settings: Today you have a domain "A" and you want to synchronize users in an OU in this area "A" domain "B" (user and password). FIM2010 only want to use for provisioning users and sync your passwords from the domain over WAN links (VPN)? Yes exactly In the future, you will have areas of "C", "D", "E"? Yes. Regards, Chico
