how to set different view for the 3 list forms using Infopath

Hi,

Can anyone please guide me on how to set different views for the three list forms. I want to have an infopath form for newform.aspx and another for editform.aspx.

I know that we can create different views in Infopath designer, but i'm unable to attach the newly created one's to the list forms.

thank you.

How are you creating these forms? Typically you would go to the library settings and click on the button to customise the list forms in infopath. Once you've clicked on that a copy of the forms in infopath format will open on your computer for you to customise.

When you're using Infopath you use different 'views' in the infopath form rather than seperate aspx pages.

You can use InfoPath FormLoad rules to achieve this.

Try out this link:

Thanks for the responses.

I also figured out that, we can go to the List ribbon and open the Form web parts for either the default NewForm, EditForm, or DisplayForm or for the content type forms and then edit the web part and set a different view we created from the Infopath.

Thanks.
