What are you trying to do? Is it possible that dtutil.exe will work for you?http://sqlblog.com/blogs/jamie_thomson/ | @jamiet | About me

How then would one use dtsintall.exe to do an unattended install? I don't want to have to double-click on a .deploymentmanifest file in order to deploy it. I want to call dtsinstall.exe (or similar) and pass it all of the parameters that it requires such as file system or SQL Server, location on file system/SQL Server etc...

Hi, Thanks for the reply but I want to changes the values in manifest file with the values of commandpromt by using dtsinstall.exe. Can you please help me on this

What values do you want to change? I am asking because this utility only accepts one parameter: the name of the manifest file, this is it. Thus, I believe you ought to reconsider using the DTUtil.exe or may be your intention is to pass some config values/run time variables? Then you need the DTExec.exeArthur My Blog
