how to open dataset in SSRS 2005
Hi all, how to open existing dataset in SSRS 2005. I am creating some reports based on existing reports so i want to open and see existing data sets in old reports. please let me know... Thanks jyo

Hi Jyo, - Go to Data tab, - Select your DataSet which you want to edit (their might be multiple data-sets) - Click the button right next to the drop down menu which say "edit selected dataset" which looks like 3 dots "..." when you hover your mouse to that button, click on the "..." (3 dots button) which will allow you to edit the data-set Please let us know if you don't find. Thanks Kumar KG, MCTS

Hello jyo, You can't access datasets from other reports, that's not possible. In SSRS 2008 R2 you can define "Shared Datasets", but not in SSRS 2005.
