Does anyone know if setting IPv4 as the preferred stack can be done Via group policy? Any other suggestions on how this can be done silently on a domain or non-domain subnet would be helpful. I have command line access to all of the systems, domain or not.

Before anyone goes into the '1000 reasons you shouldnt stop IPv6', I just want to say that this is what I want to do for the following reasons:
1) on this network IPv6 is unmanaged - This is a major vulnerability as it can be exploited by anyone who can get on the same subnet. Peer-to-peer router discovery, with a prefered override = DANGER
2) Systems are pulling strange IPv6 DNS servers when connected to the Wireless AP
3) There are other security issues on the network that I need to address. As the security devices dont fully support IPv6 (just the normal automated 4 over 6 stuff) and IPv6 is encrypted by default I also worry that it could be a simple bypass to any gateway packet inspections.
I understand that Microsoft any everyone is trying to convince us to switch halfway over by just doing it, however they are not giving administrators the control they need over it, and hardware vendors don't always support it in the firmware.
