how to get footer info at the end of a page ?
Dear all, I am building a report and I have a prefidined page footer which display simply the printing date and number of page.. What happen is that the footer is tight to the end of the record list but not at the end of the page ... What I mean is that if my report display only 10 rows, then my footer gets print immediatly after the end of the row, so if then you will have a nice footer at the middle of a page instead of bottom. How to get it place properly ? thnaks for help regards serge

Hi, I would like to have more information about the behavior you are presenting. - Is the offending page the first or last in the report, you have a header, andyou have PrintOnFirstPage/PrintOnLastPage set to false for the header? - How big is the distance between the bottom of the footer as it renders today in pdf and the end of the page? Could be that distance the height of the header that is not printed because of the settings I mentioned above? I would also like to clarify the expected position of the footer in the page: in report preview the footer should appear exactly below the last record, while in pdf, image, or print it should appear at the bottom of the page. Thank you, Mihaela

Actually this happens all pages in all reports regardless of the settings unless your table/matrix is inside a list. When youuse the wizard it automaticallyputs every thing inside list(s) so thisdoesn't happen and fail to draw the users attention. If you place your table or matric which ever you are using to place the date inside of a list the page footer will display at the bottom ofeach page regardless of the data size. If you want/need you can set you list properties to extend to the end of the page.

Hello thanks fro your reply. I have noticed that the foorter page gets displayed at the end of the records list only when I am preview it. In other words if the list of records catch half of the page then the footer will be display in the middle of the page. In an other hand when reports gets pirinted out through printer or PDF file then the report footer gets displayed properly at the end of the page.. serge
