how to embed PowerPoint slide on a SharePoint page with hyperlinks?
I have spent many hours searching and trying to figure out how to do something that is probably simple. I have one slide that I created in PowerPoint 2007 that contains Smart Art and hyperlinks. I would like to use this "model" that I created on my SharePoint 2007 MOSS page. I don't want any borders or viewer controls and I don't want the PowerPoint client to launch. I would like it to look like an image on a page.Is there any way to use a slide embedded on a SharePoint page to make it look like an image but allow the hyperlinks to be clickable?Kerry

Some options: Convert the powerpoint to html and put it in a Content editor web part Use a tool to convert the powerpoint to an image, though you would lose the links Use a tool to convert the powerpoint to a PDF of Flash I dont think using a Page Viewer web part pointed to the PPT will work, though some browsers may show the PPT in the browser, I don't think the experinec would be consistantRandy Drisgill | The Mossman Blog | SharePoint Branding Services

This is a wild idea but something you can maybe check out.I was told recently (i.e. I've not tried it) in a comment to a blog item, that you can use SnagIt to create an image with functioning hyperlinks. You could install the trial version of the latest version of SnagIt and see if you could create such an image; upload it to a SP doc lib and then open it from that doc lib.Again this is a wild idea that I have not tested in any way.Note: SnagIt is typically used for creating screen shot images.

On SharePoint 2010 you can do this with PowerPoint Web App. If the PowerPoint deck is public, follow the steps here: How to embed a PowerPoint presentation on a web page. If this is a private PowerPoint deck on an intranet, follow the steps here: Embedding a PowerPoint Deck on SharePoint 2010
