how to create a complex view filter in a list
Hello, I have a standard sharepoint list. I'd like to create a more complex view filter, for example: (Vendor=ABC AND status=released) OR (Vendor=XYZ AND status=released) OR (vendor=XYZ AND status=reviewed). The sharepoint view menu does not make this apparent. Note: I do not have experience with SPD, and would like to stick out of the box if possible. thanks!

In my opinion you can create a calculated column for your complex filter logic, and create a view based on the value in calculated column. Even you can opt not to show this calculated column in your view. --- Rajesh | My Blog MCTS - WSS AD, WSS Config, MOSS Config.
