how to check the sccm working or not
Hi, I am completely new to SCCM wehave SCCM 2007 R2 installed in our site .All I wanted to know is how do i check that sccm server working is there any commands that will check for configuration issues? Thanks

you need to follow the troubleshooting guide provided by bechir, but for quick check. 1) go to the site status and see any error. to verify basis task like software distribution ,software update so can create a package for software distribution and template for software updates and push to 1-2 test client to verify software distribution & software updates. for example for SW dist : 1) make a software package containing a batch file that will run command notepad or calc and advertise to a test collection containing 1-2 clients if advertisement run successfully at client side its means the software distribution is working. 2) run few hardware and software inventory report see are you getting data in it. 3) configure discovery and push sccm agent to few clients see if agent pushing is working.Syed Kasif
