I have backup one site collection with command stsadm. This site collection is aber very large and the DB Server is overloaded. How can I cancel this backup process? I want to start it at evening again but not at day.

Hi, terminating the process using either the task manager (finding the stsadm.exe process there) or canceling with CTRL+C in the command shell should do the trick.
