hi, I need to Create a drill down report.. but I could not get it to work .. can any 1 explain the steps to follow... i must be missing something... I need to drill down to another report which takes parameters of the parent report. 2) is there any way to open up drill downed report in a separate window keeping the parent report in tact for analysis purposes... I'm using SSRS 2005

Hi vishal, Generally, If you want to navigate to the drill down report in a new window, we have to use “Jump to URL” option for a textbox. And then, made the Jump to URL expression as: ="javascript:void window.open('http://yoururl&rs:Command=Render.....and whatever else you need "')". 1. Open up a text box properties window 2. Go to Navigation 3. Enable Jump to URL 4. Construct the expression of Jump to URL option.
