getting alert but not mail for system restart
hi ideployed SCOM in my test enviroment and created few alerts one of them is for system resstart alert but my alerts only showing on dashboard i am not getting email alert about it , how can i setup to get the alerts on email sorry i am newbie in SCOM/SCCM can some one redirect me on right way thanks

just a copy this can help you also how to create alerts on system shutdown/restart You can create a monitor or rule based on the related Events to generate alerts. Then, create a notification subscription to the alerts. thanks, one more small query. i recently install Exchange 2007 management pack in my enviroment but i am not able to see data in it when everi ran report it show me blank nothing on it i alreay try to create a alert for one of my mailbox it shows me alert on scom console but reports show blank data any help on this would be appriciated

thx guys seems like a lot of configuration missing in exchange by the helps of you guys i am able to get the reports still few reports not showing data i hope it is wise to give some time to SCOM to gather data for reports.
