formatting multi rows for each sql server row returned - 2008
I am using ssrs 2008 and am trying to figure out the multi rows for each data returned from sql server. what I did is format a table - and created a group - used 2 columns to format the group. I don't want the group expression to be displayed and can't figure out how to hide the group expression but display the detail lines. When I select group properties and select Hide - all of the details rows are hidden as well. Is there an easier way to create a group based on each row returned? I don't want to list many columns to force uniqueness as each row returned will be it's own group. Here is how the table looks - I want Group Expr to be invisible but allow the multiple rows for 1 data row to remain visible Group Expr detail line 1 detail line 2 let me know if you need more info thanks

Right-click the group expression row in the tablix (matrix) and select delete row.Remember to mark as an answer if this post has helped you.

Hi bsh17, It seems you need to delete Group column not Group row, right-click the column handle your group in, and select delete, you can also right-click the Group name in Row Group pane, and then select delete group. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Challen FuPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
