Basically Data Source Views are meant to provide views into the objects from database that is being used by the current project (either SSIS, SSAS, or SSRS). They are going to provide a brief aspect of the whole data source,in the way that it is easier to read and understand for developers. In SSIS, data source views mainly depict the tables and views used in data flow tasks, execute SQL tasks, or other tasks in packages as source or destination.
