first page starts lower than all of the other pages
I have a table for a report - when I preview the reports, the first pages starts a few lines lower, than when I go to the 2nd and all other pages those line up exactly as they should. Only the first page is off - any ideas on where to check. Thinking something with margins and table size, etc Thanks

SO, I know what is causing this issue = I had to define a group in order to create page breaks for each record that is retrieved. I didn't know how else to do this, except to create a group. I don't know how to hide the group as it hides the detail lines as well when I select 'hide' for the group. maybe the solution is to display the group on each page break. where do I set that?

Problem is solved. wanted to post this in case anyone else has this issue. I selected my table properties and moved it up to the top most point as there was a small gap/space along the top. Once I did that the pages all line up as they should. Hope that helps someone!

Hi bsh17, To this issue of yours, I would recommend you open your report in BIDS, find out report's location property, then decrease the value for Top node. If the issue still exist, please feel free to let me know. Hi bsh17, You can move it directly, you can also modify its location's top property to a smaller value, just like my first reply pointed. Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
