I am the site administrator of the site I'm having an issue with. I am trying to upload a document to a library. I get error "file is checked out or locked for editing by username." The problem is that I don't see the document in the library at all. It is not rendering in the list. I asked the person to whom it is checked out to check it back in which she did. I still do no see it in the library. Can anyone guess as to the issue? I should always have been able to see it, right? I even looked in the folder in Designer and didn't see it there.There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

run4iit. Did the concerned person publish the document? For the document to be visible to other users, a major version of document needs to exist. Thanks VV

I just tried to filter the Modified List by that user, then it showed up. Seems like some weird glitch that righted itself by playing with the fitler. There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.
