Hi Ychinnari,

According to your description, the subscription failed with the error No DSN present in configuration file, Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ServerConfigurationErrorException: The report server has encountered a configuration error. ; .

In Reporting Services, DSN property contains a connection to the report server database, when you setup a report server database in RSCM, DSN property will be added in configuration file. In your scenario, please check if you have set up the connection to a report server database. Please refer to this article: Reporting Services 2008 Configuration Mistake. If the Report Server database you are connecting to exists in another server, you should also grant the user db_owner role on master and MSDB database. Please refer to the last reply of this link: Problems Configuring Reporting Services to use a database on another server.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,
Qiuyun Yu

I have changed the configuration settings and there it creates the DSN connection in the configuration manager,

But in the Configuration file we will not find any DSN connection ,

and my reportServer database should exist in the same server it self.

still not able to send the email to the respect team

and still is showing the same error like below

-------------------------------------------------------------------

<Configuration>
<Dsn>
</Dsn>
<ConnectionType>Default</ConnectionType>
<LogonUser></LogonUser>
<LogonDomain></LogonDomain>
<LogonCred></LogonCred>

----------------------------------------------------------------------

No DSN present in the configuration file but it is empty, Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ServerConfigurationErrorException: The report server has encountered a configuration error. ;

Can you please update this

it is very urgent basis

Regards

Thanks!

You have  to modify the first computer's Delegation records in Active Directory to make it a trusted server. Once that happens, it should allow it to pass on the user's authentication. I don't have domain admin rights to our server so I haven't been able to try it myself, but I have bumped into this same issue a few times.

Edit: Another option may be to allow SQL Server Authentication and create a user account in SQL Server. Then you'll be able to bypass the Kerberos restraints and SQL Server can pass the login.

First check you can able to ping telnet SMTP server with 25

once done then try to send email from CMD which will you using following link.

http://www.wikihow.com/Send-Email-Using-Telnet

Any query Let me know.
