Hello!I'm having problems finishing inbound group synchronization from AD to ILM2. The workflow is following: 1. AD user accounts are created using outbound synchronization process from ILM.2. After it empty Global Security group is manually created in the AD, filled with newly created user accounts, imported to AD MA connector space, synchronized to ILM2 MA connector space with the following attributes (AccountName, Description, DisplayName, Domain, MVObjectID, MailNickname, MembershipAddWorkflow, MembershipLocked, ObjectType, Scope and Type). Group object is present in ILM2 MA connector space.When trying to export group objects from ILM2 MA connector space to ILM2 I get failed-creation-via-webservices error with no additional information on group object. Any ideas on what could cause this?Thank you!Regards, Alexey

I am well aware of where RC0 was announced, however, until ILM2 is released, the correct place of ILM2 questions is at the link I provided for you. As far as any other threads on ILM2 are concerned, you need to be aware that with the exception of the Microsoft employees who post here, all the rest of us, including the MVPs are simply volunteers who have other real jobs and we don't always get to every single thread. The guidance about using the Connect forum for ILM2 questions rather than this forum comes from the ILM2 product group, it isn't some arbitrary rule that I decided to implement. If you search this forum, you'll find posts from the product group directing ILM2 questions to the Connect forum.

I've found the solution myself and posted it to the Connect forum.Maybe I haven't noticed it earlier, but the problem occurs because of ILM2 Group Validation Workflow (see ILM2 Web Portal). In order to import groups to ILM2 they should either be compliant with ILM2 requirements (specific set of attributes, membership rules etc) or one should switch off ILM2 Group Validation flag on ILM2 Default Group Validation Activity. In that case you have to be very careful when importing attributes without this validation (that is exactly what I wanted). This will make failed-creation-via-webservice error go away.Regards, Alexey
