extra space in text when printing - version 2008
I have read some post on the printing from the report manager where a work like "test" may appear printed like "tes t". I have this issue on one of my forms.. Is there a workaround to resolving this issue? Could it be my print driver on my desktop? I will have another co-worker test this to see if it prints good for them.. Note: I seem to notice this after the "y" is printed. any thoughts? thanks

This sounds like an issue with the IMAGE rendering extension. To test this theory, export your report to an image file (like a JPG) and let us know if the same thing happens. I checked the Connect site and didn't find a bug reported for this behavior with my search criteria. You may want to do a search as well at http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/SearchResults.aspx If you can produce it in a simple report, please post to this site and include a copy of your report (or suficient instructions to reproduce the behavior) What product version are you using? Are all patches & service packs up to date?Paul Turley, MVP, www.SQLServerBIBlog.com *Please vote if helpful*

I found this link that seems to be similiar to what is happening. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlreportingservices/thread/ae6c560f-4d81-4c50-8b5f-9cda38220e99 I can't save the file to a JPG, but did it to word and TIFF and the formatting looks good. It seems to only occur when I print from the SQL server 2008 report manager. I will check what patches and service packs are updated on the SSRS server and get back to you.

They are going to install SP1 on the SSRS server. They said just the base ssrs server was previously installed. After installing SP1, my printing issue has been resolved. Thanks. Now if I can get them to install the latest SP...
