delete links?
I have the Links web part on my page. I can add links to it, but can't delete them. I have full control of the page, but how do I delete existing links?

Hi, It sounds like you have full control of the site, but not full control of the links repository. If go to the Links Repository via View All Site Content and get into its List Settings find out what the permissions are there - ensure they are set so that you have the relevant access? Cheers Geoff

Oh looks like I did have rights, but that's a pain. Isn't there an easier way to delete them?

Hi there, You cannot simply click on a link and then hit say Delete because clicking on the link takes you to the target (which is what its supposed to do :) ) - The only way to delete links is to go to the repository where they are housed and delete them from there. Fastest way assuming the header (by default called Links) is displayed is to click that which then displays the links, and then by selecting drop down arrow Delete on the relevant link. Hope this helps Cheers Geoff
