delete from SecurityObjUsers
On two separate Configuration Manager installations, we have a very odd problem.
Every once in a while, the tables SecurityObjUsers and
SecurityObjInstances gets deleted (!?) They are completely empty, no data at all. Of course the ConfigMgr console is useless since it displays no objects, and we do not have the rights to add permissions. Catch 22.
We have created an sql script that restore the content of the tables, and then the system lives happily for some hours. Then the tables gets wiped again. Maybe (but not confirmed), the tables gets wiped when the Site server is rebooted (or some 5-15 minutes
thereafter).
A SQL Profiler log shows the following command sent from SMS_HIERARCHY_MANAGER to the SQL server:
delete from SecurityObjUsers
delete from SecurityObjInstances
What the *** is going on!?
