delete computer permission

Greetings,

I would like to create a custom RBA role that uses the "Remote Tools Operator" role, and sufficient permissions to delete a computer from the ConfigMgr console.

Is there a way to customize the "Remote Tools Operator" role permissions to delete a computer from ConfigMgr?

Or would I need to use one of the other built-in security roles, if yes, which one?

Thanks.

You can download ConfigMgr Toolkit for R2; it contains RBA Viewer which can also be used to create custom security roles.

Alores,

This is simple to do and I have the exact same thing implemented for a client. Right click the Remote Tools Operator role and choose copy. Modify the settings to add in the ability to delete computer objects and save the new role. Assign out accordingly.

Thank you for steps needed to do this. To delete computer objects, is it the Collection->Delete Resource permission I need to change?

Thanks again Paul, I just did a test and changing that one permission to yes worked :-) Just in case someone else needs the details, I am using CM2012 SP1 CU3.
