Hi, To move SharePoint sites and Sub Sites refer http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/sharepointadmin/thread/E4ED6DB6-069F-46A4-8685-E740A424F3A6 and to deploy same customization you have to re add source files to SharePoint central admin, you have to re add GAC entries because on Source and destination server configuration changes. so to deploy customization you have to follow the same steps which you did on source server very first time while deploying customization.Warm Regards, Pratik Vyas | SharePoint Consultant | http://sharepointpratik.blogspot.com/
