creating audiences based on OU membership
Hi guys, In our organization we have one AD domain and several sites. There're one OU in that domain for each site. Now I need to create an audience for each site so users from different site could use portal with different appearance. I know that by default it's possible to use AD groups for audience, not OUs. But still I suppose the requirement of using OUs is quite common so maybe you have any ideas?

Hi plastikman, As far as I know, audience can be set based on user profile data that can (but does not have to) come from Active Directory. So you could create an audience for all Managers or all HR Employees based on their Organizational Unit. For more information about audiences, please refer to the following articles: http://wiki.threewill.com/display/enterprise/Audience+Targeting+Across+Lists http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc261958(office.12).aspx Regards, Rock Wang Microsoft Online Community Support

Hi Rock Wang, I add canonicalName to profile properties, then create audience that uses this parameter. Now I get users in audiences based on OU belonging!
