Hi. We are trying to get away from a deep folder structure within a Sharepoint library, and have moved to one that is only two folders deep. We are using filters / grouping for our display purposes to mimic the folder structure we had previously. We have run into an issue where we need to copy a group of files over to a CD. Previously these would have been in their own folder and we would have used Explorer view to grab and drop them onto the CD. Now with the flat structure, we can filter our view (within Sharepoint) to only the pertinent files, but cannot find a way to copy only the filtered group of files to the CD via Sharepoint. I do not see a way to filter in Explorer view using Sharepoint metadata. Any suggestions? Thanks, Katrenia

Hi Katrenia, I am afraid that it is impossible to filter a set of documents from SharePoint explorer view as WebDAV cannot recognize any fields specified in SharePoint document library. Thanks for your understanding. Best Regards.Lily Wu
