convert word to html
I am making a Policey and Procudure site and i have a document library with Word Documents (docx).
in these word documents i use headings and bullets and when i use sharepoint to convert them to html i lose the bullets
can anyone help with this?

Hello,
Go to site settings-> site content types-> document-> manage document conversion for this content type. In that select the word to web page option and make sure the CSS is retained.

i have store CSS section from the converted html in the following field Style Definitions

Hi,
Were these documents created by using old Word application, such as Office 2003? If so, please save them in the Open XML formats, then convert again, then check the result.
The document conversion feature in Office SharePoint Server 2007 supports only the Open XML Formats in Office Word 2007. If you have existing documents that were created in an earlier version of Word, you need to save them using the Open XML Format.
There are a couple of ways to do this:
If you are using an earlier version of Word, you can install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats.If you are using Office Word 2007, you can convert the existing documents to the Open XML Format by using the
Convert command.
