control checkbox is greyed out in the toolbox report designer
Hi,
so far I know you can only use objects that
are available in Report Items.
I don't know what exactly you try to do with the check box but in general you have the possibility to
to use parameters to control report behaviors
or
create a ASP web page and add a report view control.
Maybe you can post more details what you try to achieve.

Hi MFokke,
As Werner posted above, we can create a custom application and use ReportViewer control to display the report if we need to use the “checkbox” control.
By the way, we can also deploy a custom report item for us to design enterprise reports. For more information, please refer to the following articles below:

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Hello all,
I have already tried to google but perhaps this problem is just too easy, I couldnt find anything helpfull.
I use the report designer within SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, MS SQL server 2008R2 64bit.
I can use some controls, they are called report items but it does not contain a checkbox so when I rightclick in the grey area of the toolbox and choose show all I get alot of controls that are greyed out and I can't drag onto my design.
The one I like to use is in common controls (version 2.0 .net component) so what can I do to use it? do I need a refrence somewhere in my design? (just like vb) or am I missing .net 2.0? doesn't it work on 64bit?
I am verry new in this program so maybe this is a real beginners question, but I hope somebody can help me. Thanks!
