connecting to a remote desktop session host server

Hi guys, I just deployed a Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter version.

Since the client who will be using the server needs more than a single user to connect to it, I need to connect it to a remote desktop session host server, I have one but I can't find the settings to connect to it in Administrative tools as I could find in Windows Server 2008 servers.

All I could find is how to make my 2012 server an RDSH server in it's own right but that's not what I looking for.Can anyone please help? It's rather urgent.

Hello

I am not sure to get it.
Do you want your customer to be able to connect through RDP to that server?
Or do you want him to be able to administrate it through some integrated tools?

If you want RDP access you have to install RD role(s).
Or some 3rd party software.

I'm afraid you missunderstood me.

Generally, a server supports up to 3 connections (3 different remote sessions) simulatiously.

To increase the number of connections, you need to obtain a CAL license. You can also deploy a remote desktop session host server and use it to manage the number of connections to your server.

Currently, I have a remote desktop session host server that runs Winodws server 2008 R2 and a server 2012 R2 as a terminal server. Both servers are on the same VLAN, the same Subnet and are in DMZ towards each other and Windows Firewall is disabled on both of them. I can't however for the life of me make my 2k12 server obtain the CAL licenses from the RDSH server.

Any ideas?
