Hi,

i made a report connecting to SSAS 2008 R2  using BIDS 2008 R2 and then i deployed it to SSRS 2005.

it deployed successfully  but when trying to run it. it fails with the following error

"Cannot create a connection to data source 'xxxCube'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)

• • The connection either timed out or was lost.

Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

• An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

i tried to connect with SSMS 2005 to SSAS 2008 R2 i recevied an error  that it cannot connect to SSAS higher version than 2005

so is there  a way to connect to 2008 R2 SSAS from SSRS 2005, is there any driver that can be installed to this ?
