configure SSRS in Sharepoint Mode with SQL Server 2012
Dear All, I want to configure in SSRS in Sharepoint Mode with SQL server 2012, and I follow this article:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg492276(SQL.110).aspx Everything is normal until following step, I input/select all information needed. After I click OK to submit configuration, an error occurred, it told me "the database engine instance that I created, doesnot meet the edition reqirement for the Reporting Services database". And I checked the database via SSMS(Management studio), the database ReportingService_XXXXX is not created. If I need created the DB firstly? or other actions needed? OS/Software Enviroment: Windows 2008 R2 Standard/SQL Server 2012 Enterprise/Sharepoint Server 2010 Enterprise with SP1 Thanks.

i know you mentioned SQL Server 2012 Enterprise as part of your configuration. I wanted to make sure that the database instance "sptest\sharepoint" you are using is also enterprise edition? If it is then we need to debug further. The error snapshot you are showing has a "correlation ID". you need to find all the entries in the sharepoint ULS logs which correspond to this correlation ID. you can find the ULS logs on the server in this location <system drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS Once you hit the error. 1. copy the correlation id from the error pop-up 2. navigate to <system drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS 3. find the latest log file in this folder and open it 4. search for the correlation id and copy all the entries which are logged with this correlation id.
