column transformation and derived column
Hi all, am here again almost with the same problem. Am trying to extract data from plain table. i use "Derived Column". There are 4 columns in the source with the pk id, but the problem is, it is only one id column that i see in the destination. i want see all 4 columns including the id column in the destination. any solution? with thanks /M

I am not clear about the requirement. Please provide us some example to make the requirement clear. If you want to consume all the 4 columns from source into one column in destination table, you can use derived column and create a new column using all the 4 source columns.Nitesh Rai- Please mark the post as answered if it answers your question

No, Only in the available input Columns not in the Available Destination Columns /M The column metadata is read from the destination table, so if it is only showing one of the four columns than the other three columns will need to be added to the destination table for you to be able to map something to them. Are you sure that you selected the correct table from the drop down?Please mark answered posts. Thanks for your time.
