colour settings for designers
Where in Tools | Options | [presumably then Environment | Fonts and Colors | ...?] can I set colours for the Control Flow and Data Flow Designers? For one reason or another the machine on which I am working is not always rendering the borders of the tasks, so I want to darken the background of the workspace for contrast.

If your machine is not rendering the object properly, I don't think color options (if they did exist) would be the solution. It would be considered a "Defect Support System", ie: one that allows the defect to continue without fixing it. I would go for a re-install/repair of Visual Studio and any and all Service Packs and hot fixes.Todd C - MSCTS SQL Server 2005 - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.

I'd be happy just to be able to change the colour, if not for aesthetic reasons as well. You must be able to change them. Where's the option?

You can't change the designer at all. There are no options to do so. Talk to me now on
