Hi one particular collection in our central server is taking too long time to udate, hence we are getting scom alert stating too much time taken to update. we have set an non peak time for the update for this collection, still the same issue, any other method to increase the duration.Thanks Shankar K

Hi Shankar, You should verify this collection query and see if there is anythig that you can modify to reduce the time it takes run. There could be something wrong with the collection WQL query. Please check it. Regards, Madan

Hi Madam nothing wrong according to me, this is taking to much time as this collection has about 25 K systems (is what my assumption) and we are not getting this alert daily, but getting offenlyThanks Shankar K

Shankar, You can incease the during in SCOM so it allow more timeto run the query before generating the alert. I would look at optimizing sccm DB and the collection query. Regards, Madan
