How big is the difference? How are the maintenance tasks that remove old records configured on each site? Are there are clients with the 'decomissioned' flag on the central?Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

Hi, Decommissioned When a Configuration Manager 2007 client is removed from a child site, its record is not automatically deleted from the parent site. However, a new data discovery record (DDR) is sent to the parent site and the client becomes marked as decommissioned. You can then use Configuration Manager 2007 queries or collections to identify decommissioned client computers. Note: By default, this state is not shown in the Configuration Manager console. To view this column, click View, click Add/Remove columns, add Decommissioned from the Available columns, and then click OK. The issue may be caused by the following factors: a. The site to site communication from the Primary site to Central site has some problem; b. The heartbeat DDR for the clients are not handled well or in time on the central server side; c. Duplicate SMS Unique ID.
