click on dashboard the console hangs
A newly installed SCCM (SP2) site server on Win2K8 R2. Just browse though the management console. When clicking reporting -> dashboard a sand clock appears and stays there - the console hangs. Any suggestions?

Is it happening only with specific report? What about other reports? If the console get hung during fetching the huge report/dashboard may have several reasons, your hardware health condition ( RAM size) and IIS buffer limit size are among them. Regards, Joy.

Thanks Jorgen. I tried today, clicking on reporting -> reports displays 373 items while reporting-> dashboards shows no items. Is this correct?

That's correct there are no dashboards included in the SCCM installation, you will have to create your own from the existing reports. -- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --
