checked out documents refusing to be checked in
Hi I have two users who are unable to check their documents in. The 1st user had to rename their document and then uploaded a new doc, the 2nd user still can't check in. The error for the 2nd user is : This document was checked ouut to your local drafts folder but the local copy could not be checked in to the site. Close any application that is editing the document and try to check in again, or discard the checkout. There is no program editing the document, any views ? Should I ask the client to restart their workstation ? Can i as admin attempt check in ? Thanks

Hi i've looked at the link, the file your refering to is : File name File version File size Date Time Platform Wss-kb970946-fullfile-x86-glb.exe 12.0.6510.5001 19,048,696 26-Jun-2009 07:35 x86 My wss version is 12.0.0.6421 (sp2), is the above version newer or older ? Is there a difference between hotfix and a patch ? Thanks
