How do i adjust pages so that the content area is a lot wider- preferably 1400. So far the only area i can use is about half the page.

Can you provide a screenshot about how the scenario is in your environment?

By default, the width of the content area of a page will get increased along with the width increasing of the content automatically.

Or you can apply custom CSS style to the current page to change the style to make it looks wider.
