can i change the ID name of a management pack?? i have created this MP thanks

simple answer, yes. However, if you really want to change the ID, do a replace of the old ID with the new ID through the whole xml file and it will become a new management pack. As element id's need to be unique in the management group, you need to change those as well (don't expect this to run side by side with the old name; delete old, import new when you don't want to do all that replacing of element id's) However, if you just want to change the "name" of this mp, goto the language pack section find the xmlcode <displaystring elementid="IDnameofmp"> <name>nameofmp</name> </displaystring> And change only the "nameofmp" leaving the "IDnameofmp" the same (there might be different language settings in here, so change them all).Rob Korving http://jama00.wordpress.com/
