ccmsetup /uninstall not working
I used psexec to push out a .cmd file that uninstalls the sccm cleint. on the target machines I've looked at the ccmsetup.log and it says the following Command line: ccmsetup.exe /uninstall ccmsetup 7/13/2012 1:02:53 PM 1440 (0x05A0) Updated security on object C:\WINDOWS\ccmsetup\. ccmsetup 7/13/2012 1:02:53 PM 1440 (0x05A0) Ccmsetup is not registered in the Run key ccmsetup 7/13/2012 1:02:53 PM 1440 (0x05A0) Uninstall succeeded. ccmsetup 7/13/2012 1:02:53 PM 1440 (0x05A0) . but when I look in c:\windows\syswow64\ccm everything is still there, all folders! why?

Check whether the configmgr control panel applets are removed or not. If removed, you can add a command to remove the CCM folder as well (in your .CMD file). However, I always use ccmclean.exe to do this task. I know it's not supported but it still works perfectly (You can refer to the following post for more details CCMClean.exe ) Anoop C Nair - @anoopmannur :: MY Site: www.AnoopCNair.com :: FaceBook: ConfigMgr(SCCM) Page :: Linkedin: Linkedin<
