HI, Have you installed any version of Visual Studio in the same machine ? Refer "http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/747115/ssdt-not-opening-data-source-view" I previously had Visual Studio 2011 Beta installed on my machine. Even though I uninstalled it, a dll lingered behind: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\MSDesigners8\msddslm.dll (When I opened the properties of the dll and looked at the details, it was for Visual Studio 2011) To solve the issue, I removed the dll and ran a VS2010 repair. I hope this helps anybody else having the same issue. Thanks, Naveen T Naveen Kumar
