cannot configure AD FS 2.0 to issue tokens to the SharePoint Sites
Hi, I have two web front-ends sharepoint 2007 servers and i wanted to configure AD FS to work with Sharepoint. I have done the followign steps as per the Technet document at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyid=ca9efab1-aa5d-49f5-a8da-819f6cc50a41 1) Set Microsoft Sharepoint server to accept tokens from the federation server--> succeeded 2) add the domain admins hroup as Administrator for the sharepoint site--> succeeded 3) when i try to configure the federation server to issue tokens to the sharepoint site, i started by add Repying party wizard when i tried to select a data source, i entered the location where the sharepoint federation metadata file is located but i entered the url of the NLB of the front-end servers and i receive the below error: ""An error occured during an attempt to read the federation metadata, verify that the specified URL or host name is a valid federation metadata endpoint. Error Message: the underlying connection was closed. Could not establish a trust relashionship for the SSL/TLS secure Channel." I stuck at that stepe and I cannot proceed. however, if I try to enter the URL in the select data source step by using one of the fornt-end servers, i receive the same error btu when i try to enter it in IE I get an error" I initially get a warning that the SSL cert is issued for a different computer name than what's in the URL (because it is redirecting to the proxy IP address). If I go past this warning in Internet Explorer, it then shows me the contents of the XML file. Thank You Rateb
