Is item level permission in a document library possible? I am building an intranet and need to provide edit permissions to specific office admins on specific documents. Is this possible? Or is the best I can do it create a special permissions group with just edit rights and all users in this group have edit rights to all docs in the library?There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

While you can add permissions at the individual document level, this is very impractical for more than one or two documents.
